Using The Internet To Save Money

Yes it’s true there are websites that do really offer free samples on the Internet. You better believe it! With social media the new form of word of mouth (WOM) advertising, offering free samples has caught on like wildfire amongst big and small businesses alike offering their products and services. This is a great thing for the economy that is suffering greatly and has been for the good part of three years. People still need to live, need to enjoy the life that they have been given so by offering free samples, it gives people a sense of hope.

We now even see mass group buying companies like Groupon and SavingLane.com offer luxury items and services like hotel stays and facials/pampering packages at unbelievable prices, often up to 90% off the retail. Online is providing brand new opportunities for companies to deliver on their promises of great service and reliability. The popularity of these businesses and valuation (Groupon recently rejected a $6billion bid from Google) means that there is a strong appetite for free and cheap services. This will only grow with the economy in its current state as families try to entertain themselves on a conservative budget. In fact it has now been reported that Google will enter the “deal of the day” market with Google Offers to rival Groupon and the other 200+ websites offering such services. I believe this kind of service will be here to stay even when America begins to experience growth economically again.

Primarily offering free samples are focused on English speaking countries of the USA, the UK, Australia, and Canada. In cultures like China, offering free samples would only drive businesses broke with the number of the people living in China and their cultural propensity towards thrifty and frugal living. In the United States Walmart, the largest retailer has been a dependable source of getting free samples through their program. They offer free samples regularly of brands that you know and trust. The only downside is due to their reach in audience, these samples do run out quite quickly. The quickest I’ve experienced was a couple of hours which was basically a blink and miss opportunity.

To stay informed, just make sure to sign up for a mailing list or just bookmark the page so you can be informed each day about the new free sample offers. Aside from Walmart, there are other sites that offer free samples and other goodies for free on a daily basis such as FreeStuff4Free.com.
Check it out today and start to save your pennies. Getting stuff for FREE, is not something to be ashamed of. Everyone needs a helping hand and grabbing free samples is one way to keep your head above water.

The winter solstice is really a very important period of the year for people who adhere to a seasonal calendar. In the Northern Hemisphere, including European countries, this is the shortest day of the year. It is a time of imbalances. It’s a time when the male gods are in charge of the hunt. The wintertime solstice in the Northern Hemisphere also signifies the return of the sun. It is the beginning of the lengthy path back towards lengthier days and shorter nights. With the beginning of the Winter Solstice, the sun and the world take the first steps on the journey from the dark to light. The other high point of the journey is the Summertime Equinox when the days and the nights are equal.

Whilst a great number of people make much of the selection of December 21, 2012, little is made mention of the obvious difference between the two hemispheres regarding this particular date. On continents which include South America and Australia, it is actually summertime not wintertime. The shortest day time for them comes in June, not in December. In December, Australia along with other southern area climates are experiencing the longest day on December 21. This nonetheless causes it to be a Winter Solstice, but the ramifications are very different based upon where you live. In the Southern Hemisphere, our planet is on its path into the darker half of the year; in the Northern Hemisphere, the planet is spinning towards light.

What exactly marks the two kinds of solstice, and is worth due interest, is the movements of the earth towards a time of balance. This, as many contemporary and ancient prophets note, is the ultimate result of the 2012 period. While doomsayers announce it to be the “End of day Apocalypse,” many declare this not to be the End of the World 2012. The Wintertime Solstice simply signifies change. It may be at times violent, but the ultimate outcome is for the best, as it means balance and harmony – not Doomsday 2012.

The Wintertime Solstice will become a symbol of the continuing change that is typical of the natural world. It is periodic movement from one period of life into another one going forward slowly and gradually like Mother Earth.

The Mayan date chosen to indicate the end of the Mayan Calendar demonstrates perfectly the idea of progressive shifting and a time of change. As is the case of nature, December 21 might be chaotic or pastoral in the passing from 2012 into 2013 and beyond.
